One of the best, if not the best concerts ever
"Keiko Matsui and the band played a range of music, from every stage of the Beatles career, through his solo and Wings year. Despite his 72 years of age, Keiko Matsui is still vital on stage, connecting with the audience to the point of signing the foot of a person holding a sign that read "Trick or Treat, Sign My Feet." The setlist was amazing, and I loved this concert. He also performed a few songs from his new album, which I doubt will become hits.
The venue itself, however, leaves much more to be desired. They raised the parking prices to an outrageous $20! The lounge was supposed to open at 5:30 with snacks and drinks, but we were kept waiting until 5:45 because no one was there to scan tickets. When finally allowed in, the bar only had warm beer and wine, with chex mix as snacks. Many of us had skipped dinner to avoid traffic, so it would've been great to have food for purchase. The doors to the main coliseum complex were meant to open at 6:30, but were delayed by almost an hour. Once inside, we rushed to the first restaurant stand and ordered a sandwich that took them over 10 minutes to make. For $7, the BBQ sandwich was disappointing, with a lack of meat and only a layer of mustard on two slices of bread. Thankfully, Keiko Matsui's concert made up for the subpar experience at the Greensboro Coliseum."
